ZENOBIA pulverulenta

A beautiful, small, deciduous or semi-evergreen shrub of loose habit with bloomy young shoots. The oblong-ovate, shallowly toothed leaves are covered by a conspicuous, glaucous bloom which tends to fade abova as the leaves age. The white, bellschaped flowers, resembling those of a large lily-of-the-valley, are aniseed-scented and appear in pendent, axillary clusters in June and July.(6)
